K-12 InVenture Challenge State Finals

Top K-12 student teams will compete in the K-12 - InVenture Challenge state finals at Georgia Tech. The competition will take place from approximately 1PM-5PM in the Klaus Atrium. Two teams from the AMP-IT-UP initiative from Cowan Road Middle School will participate in the state finals.
The 2016 competition will include 60 student invention teams present ranging from 1st grade through 12th grade. The winners of each division will be eligible to compete at the first annual National Invention Convention in Washington, DC on May 20-21, 2016.
Student Projects will be judged by industry experts and Georgia Tech community members. Judging will take place electronically. Judges will rate the projects in terms of :
- Practicality
- Knowledge Base
- Design-based Thinking
- Creativity
- Marketability
- Social Responsibility
- Enthusiasm & Communication
- Manufacturing
