4th Annual Latino College and STEM Fair

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech’s GoSTEM program welcomes attendees to the 4th Annual Latino College and STEM Fair on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 9 AM to 2:30 PM at the Georgia Tech Student Center.

GoSTEM is a collaboration between Institute Diversity, the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC), and the Office of the Provost. This initiative aims to support Latino families in their educational pursuits and inform them about careers in STEM fields. The event is hosted in partnership with the University of Georgia’s LISELL-B program, and this year the event is also part of the official programming of the Atlanta Science Festival.

During the 4th Annual Latino College and STEM Fair, attendees can participate in an array of activities including: educational bilingual workshops and fun hands-on activities for the entire family; a college and community organizations fair, where attendees can interact with representatives from several colleges, universities and organizations that serve the Latino community; a STEM majors fair with information about different college STEM majors and programs of study; and a Panel with Latino college students, parents, professors and other professionals. The event is free and open to the public.
