Leo and Vickery Visit ISyE, Reminisce with Faculty & Staff

Primary tabs

Summer is a time for catching up with old friends and colleagues. On June 9, the Stewart School was pleased to welcome Ruthie Leo and Barbara Vickery, both retirees from ISyE, back to the Tech campus for a brief visit. A large group of ISyE administrative staff and faculty gathered in the faculty lounge on Monday morning for coffee in their honor.

Ruthie Leo began working at ISyE in 1979 as assistant to the Chair. She devoted the last year of her tenure at ISyE to assist with the start up of ISyE's Executive Masters in International Logistics. Ruthie retired in 2001. Ruthie now lives in her hometown of Lake Georgie, New York, where she works part-time for the local hospital foundation.

Barbara Vickery began working at ISyE in 1980. She worked as administrative support for the faculty for 22 years and then as an accountant for 7 years. She retired from Tech in 2002. Barbara and her husband, former Tech police chief, Jack Vickery, continue to live in McDonough and enjoy traveling and being grand parents.
