Lalit Dhingra oversees the Americas operations of NIIT Technologies. He joined NIIT Technologies in 1990 and was responsible for building the software services division from inception. He moved to the United States in 1997 as Vice President of software services and in 2006 took charge as President of operations. Dhingra was a catalyst in the growth of NIIT Technologies in the North American market. Since 1979, he has worked in the industry developing software products and managing large applications and system software products.

Dhingra was recognized for his outstanding leadership as an honoree at the International Stevie Business Awards in 2011. He was also a finalist in ‘TechAmerica’ for ‘Outstanding Leadership’ and has represented India at the ICT Summit, United Nations, 2009. Dhingra has been quoted by leading publications like Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Silicon Valley, and CIO Magazine for his business outlook and ability to comment on executable strategies and transformational models in the technology services outsourcing Industry.

An alumnus of the prestigious IIT Delhi and Michigan School of Business, Lalit has been frequently asked to speak at Ivy League schools (Columbia Business School & Georgia Institute of Technology) to mentor students and working executives.

Mr. Dhingra will speak at Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. 

About the Impact Speaker Series:

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders. The lecture series is sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship

The series is free and open to the public, reservations are not required.
