2015 Staff Awards

Primary tabs

There’s still time! Celebrate a colleague's contributions to Georgia Tech by nominating them for a 2015 Staff Award.

Georgia Tech’s Staff Awards recognize and reward employees for consistently demonstrating high levels of performance for the past year. All staff, regardless of job function, are eligible.

The Staff Awards have three categories, with a total of seven awards, and monetary prizes ranging from $1,000 to $2,500: Administrative Excellence Award; Outstanding Management in Action Award; and the Outstanding Staff Performance Awards in Staff Leadership, Innovation, Process Improvement Excellence, Entrepreneurship, and Service to the Community.

“Staff at Georgia Tech make great things happen every day through their commitment to progress and service,” said Kim D. Harrington, associate vice president of Human Resources. “This special recognition is our way to celebrate their contributions toward Tech’s values of integrity, excellence, impact, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and community.”

Anyone can nominate a colleague through a new, enhanced online nomination form. Nominations require three letters of recommendation, and individuals and/or teams may be nominated for the Administrative Excellence Award and the Outstanding Staff Performance Awards. Submissions are accepted until January 15, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.

Award recipients are selected by a cross-functional campus committee, and will be recognized at the Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff Awards Luncheon on April 22, 2016. Further information on the awards, nomination criteria and instructions can be found at www.ohr.gatech.edu/staffawards
