Workshop for graduate students on quickly building a professional website

Primary tabs

Learn how to use the Professional Web Presence (PWP) service to better communicate your research and career goals. Steve Hodges, Director of IT Services for Ivan Allen College, will introduce the PWP service to graduate students. There will be free pizza for those who RSVP to jgbt3@gatech.edu by November 15, 2015, at noon.

PWP is an open service provided by Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering and Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, with assistance provided by the College of Sciences. PWP provides Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and graduate students with individual web sites where you can showcase your research, highlight publications and projects, create and manage a blog, or otherwise promote your professional accomplishments.

Examples of campus websites built using PWP includes Dean May’s Blog, Matlab at Georgia Tech, Decision Processes Laboratory, and various faculty profile pages.
