DramaTech announces auditions for William Shakespeare's OTHELLO. Actors auditioning for Othello should prepare a short memorized Shakespearean monologue and be prepared to perform it in different ways as directed.
You only need to come to one of the two nights.
About OTHELLO:
Othello has just happily married Desdemona, but their joy cannot last long, thanks to Iago. Jealous for having been passed over for promotion in favor of the untested soldier, Michael Cassio, he will stop at nothing until he uses Desdemona to destroy the two men he hates. Experience Shakespeare’s classic text at its finest as he pits man against man in a game of psychological combat.
