August 12 Critical Issues Forum to Focus on Challenges of Demographics
WHAT: "The Reshaping of Georgia through Shifting Demographics - Catastrophe or Opportunity?" Rapidly changing demographics bring unique education challenges that must be confronted if Georgia and its citizens are to prosper.
WHO: Mike Carnathan, a researcher with the Atlanta Regional Commission, will break down the startling trends in our population changes and provide insights on what they mean for education and workforce development. A panel discussion regarding successful school district and business partner strategies and an opportunity for audience question and answer will follow.
