Teal Ribbon Day: Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Primary tabs

VOICE, Georgia Tech's sexual violence prevention and response initiative, invites the entire Georgia Tech community to participate in our second annual Teal Ribbon Day as a show of support for survivors in our community and a dedication to preventing sexual violence.

Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff will receive a teal ribbon sticker via campus mail in the second week of April. Students and organizations can request ribbons by emailing voice@gatech.edu. On April 15, wear your ribbon, then take a photo of you and your friends or colleagues and send it to voice@gatech.edu.

We will then share your photos on the Health Promotion Facebook page (facebook.com/BuzzOnHealthGT). We encourage you to provide a statement of "why you wear teal" that we can use to caption your photo.

VOICE will also be tabling from 10:30am-2pm (on Tech Walkway or in the Student Center, depending on weather) - stop by to chat with us, pick up SAAM swag, and take a photo!

Visit voice.gatech.edu for more information.
