If you need assistance with paying for commencement regalia, listen up.

The Office of Graduate Studies is excited to announce a new initiative supported through the Office of the Provost. The Commencement Regalia Assistance Fund was created to assist with regalia rental costs for graduate students demonstrating financial need where the expense would otherwise prohibit the student from participating in the commencement ceremony.

The fund will cover regalia robe rental and tam purchase for Ph.D. degree candidates (currently valued at $169.98) or regalia purchase for master's degree candidates ($99.98).

To apply for assistance for Spring 2015 Commencement, complete and submit this form by March 28. (For future terms, the deadline to submit the request form to Graduate Studies will be March 1 for spring semesters and Oct. 1 for fall semesters.) Requests will be reviewed by the Office of Graduate Studies and must be approved prior to the student visiting Barnes & Noble to complete the order.
