Hollywood Comes Back to Tech’s Campus

Primary tabs

Production and camera crews will be back on campus — this time for the filming of a Warner Bros. movie. While actual filming is scheduled for spring break, March 16 - 20, to minimize disruptions on campus, preparations will begin on Wednesday, March 11.

Filming will take place at the Klaus Advanced Computing Building’s Cooley Bridge, the exterior of the Klaus Building along Ferst Drive and Plum Street, the outdoor stairway landing adjacent to the Student Center (west of the Campanile), the Prosthetics Lab at 575 14th Street, the Carbon Neutral Energy Solutions (CNES) Laboratory, and the Food Processing Technology Building.

There will be intermittent traffic control on Ferst Drive, and the lane closest to the Klaus Building will be closed beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 16. In addition, traffic will be diverted away from eastbound Ferst Drive at the Klaus Parking Deck (E40) on Friday, March 20.

Lot W21 (Physics/Boggs/Mason) and the W23 parking deck (North Deck/State Street) will be used for production parking during filming at the Klaus Building and Cooley Bridge, and near the Student Center/Tech Green. Parking permit holders in these areas will receive an email from Parking & Transportation Services with details about alternative parking.
