Collecting Book and Paper History: An American Tradition

Dr. Paul F. Gehl of the Newberry Library in Chicago will present Collecting Book and Paper History: An American Tradition, a lecture and analysis of the exhibit A Gathering of Continents, a new exhibit at the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking.

Dr. Gehl serves as the George Amos Poole III Curator of Rare Books, and Custodian of the John M. Wing Foundation on the History of Printing at the Newberry Library. 

The lecture is free and open to the public.  Free and ample parking is available. A brief reception will precede Dr. Gehl's lecture.
