CAT’S CRADLE: RCR SUMMER WORKSHOP 2014 
Exhibition Opening: Weds, Jan 28, 6pm, Stubbins Gallery 

RCR Arquitectes, the internationally renowned Catalan architectural firm organizes a workshop every summer in Olot, a small town in the heart of Catalunya. The Laboratory of Architecture and Landscape brings together students, world-famous architects (SANAA, Studio Mumbai), landscape architects, urbanists, and artists to work on proposals that respond to very local conditions. This past August, three recent Georgia Tech M.ARCH graduates (May 2014), Maria Velasquez, Ekram Hassen, and Hee Jin Cho, participated in the workshop. The exhibition retraces their multiple investigations, conversations, and trajectories in order to explore the possibility of an architectural practice that is simultaneously part of a larger world and a smaller place.  Exhibition Opens Wednesday, January 28, 6PMExhibition Closes Friday, February 13
