C&EN story features Walton’s research

Chemical & Engineering News’ (C&EN) Dec. 8 issue includes a story titled “Building a Better Gas Mask” that features work by Krista Walton, an associate professor in the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.

Walton works with metal-organic framework (MOF) compounds, which are being studied as a potential filtration method for gas masks. The C&EN story refers to Walton’s recent study that evaluated uptake of ammonia in certain variations of an MOF called UiO-66.
