Midtown Buzz, a partnership between Georgia Tech and the Midtown Alliance Business Association, aims to engage residents, businesses, and students to develop community focused smartphone apps. The project is led by Kari Watkins, assistant professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Christopher Le Dantec, assistant professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication and the Digital Media graduate program.
