Eric Robbins, Executive Director of Georgia's Camp Twin Lakes, will speak at Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series on October 22, 2014. The title of his talk is "Leveraging Strengths to Increase Impact." All are welcome to attend.  

Backgrounder:

 Eric joined Camp Twin Lakes in 2005, bringing more than 20 years of executive level nonprofit management experience.  Prior to Camp Twin Lakes, Eric served as the Associate Executive Director of the Jewish Community Center MetroWest in West Orange, New Jersey.  Additionally, Eric was the Assistant Executive Director of The Educational Alliance and the Executive Director for the Isabella Freedman Retreat Center, both based in New York City.  In the early part of Eric’s career, he held the title of Assistant Director at Camp Barney Medintz in the north Georgia mountains. 

 A respected member of the Atlanta community, Eric is a member of the 2009 Leadership Atlanta class.  Eric annually attends ongoing professional development workshops and seminars both as an attendee and a presenter. In 2013 Eric was selected to attend an intensive social enterprise endeavor, “Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management” at the Harvard Business School in Boston.  Eric continues to be recognized by his peers and among his community for his strategic and visionary leadership of Camp Twin Lakes.  Most recently Eric was named among Atlanta’s “50 Most Influential Nonprofit Leaders 2013-2014” in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

About the Impact Speaker Series:

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders.

The series is free and open to the public, and reservations are not required.
