As the end of spring semester approaches, here are a few reminders and tips for reapplying (returning students) for financial aid in the 2014-2015 aid year.
Hope/Zell Miller Scholarship Only Applicants
- If you only want to apply for the Hope/Zell Miller Scholarship, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not required.
- By the May 1 priority deadline, complete the following:
- 2014-2015 Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid (GT APP)
- Hope/Zell Miller application, titled “Georgia Scholarship/Grant Application (GSFAPPS)” located under “Shortcuts” at gacollege411.org
- Note - the GT App must be completed for every academic year; however, you will only need to submit the GSFAPPS once.
Non Residents and Hope/Zell Miller Scholarship Students Requesting Additional Federal and/or other Aid
- By the May 1 priority deadline, complete the following:
- 2014-2015 Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid (GT APP)
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Submitting these forms by May 1, 2014, allows students to be reviewed for all potential sources of aid for which they are eligible and to receive a response regarding eligibility in June.
