Startup Lab (ECE 2893/ME 2803) is a 3-credit undergraduate class cross-listed between the schools of ECE, ME, and BME. The class focuses on teaching students startup basics and the customer discovery and development process.

Each week guest lecturers, who are typically entrepreneurs, are invited to share their startup experiences and lessons learned.

As part of this lecture series, Chris Klaus, the founder/CTO of Internet Security Systems (sold to IBM) and founder/CEO of Kaneva, is delivering a guest lecture at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the Klaus 2447 auditorium. The talk will focus on Chris’s startup experiences and lessons learned at ISS and Kaneva.

The talk is open to the public, although there will be limited seating. Those who are interested are encouraged to come in early to find seating.
