The last decade has seen a revival of fairy tale adaptations in American pop culture: the TV series Once upon a Time and Grimm as well as feature movies such as Snow White and the Huntsman, Red Riding Hood as well as Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. What is it about fairy tales that fascinates our imagination? 

Dr. Britta Kallin will lead a discussion on this subject in the School of Modern Languages Swann building Auditorium 105, on December 5, 2013 at 3.30pm.
