Film clip screening and conversation with Chadian film maker, Mahamat-Seleh Haroun, the award-winning director of Bye Bye Africa, Dry Season, and A Screaming Man.

One of the world's most in demand directors, Mahamat-Seleh Haroun dazzled the world at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival with his film A Screaming Man. He was the only director of the African Diaspora to present a film in competition at the 2013 Canne Film Festival.

Haroun will be interviewed by Dr. Angela Dalle Vacche, Georgia Tech professor and foreign film scholar.

This event is part of Africa Atlanta 2014, which is organized by the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and the Consulate General of Belgium in Atlanta, and the Africa Atlanta 2014 partners.  The event is part of the African Film Series sponsored by France-Atlanta and the BronzeLens Film Festival.
