Strategic Advising Meeting

The topic for the inaugural Strategic Advising Meeting is “Midterm Progress Reports.” Together we will discuss the midterm progress report process and ways we can use that process to benefit our undergraduates. Through discussion of our individual methods and best practices, we will come to a shared message for students who receive two or more midterm “U”s. We will also discuss proposed mandatory meetings for first-year students with three or more midterm “U”s. Shannon Dobranski will lead the conversation and review resources available at the Center for Academic Success for students who are underachieving. Please join us for this important conversation that will drive future policy for academic advising.
