Institute Communications Client Manager Elizabeth Ruth Campell, 46, died suddenly of natural causes at her Brookhaven home on April 30.
“Elizabeth was a great friend to our office,” said Matt McLendon, director of communications for Enrollment Services. “The volume of projects she managed for us was astounding. Through her leadership, we developed a broad range of communications to prospective students that were key in helping us achieve the record number of applications we received this year.”
A native of Martinsville, Va., Campell held a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University and a master’s degree in public relations from the University of Georgia. She was a member of the Georgia Tech staff for a total of nearly 20 years.
On May 5, a funeral service was held at Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care. Campell is survived by her husband, Kevin Gosnell, and son, Mitchell. A memorial website has been created for her at http://c.gatech.edu/18x5gPX.
