Second Architecture Dean Finalist to Visit April 2-3

The College of Architecture Dean Search Committee has disclosed the name of the second of the three candidates selected as finalists. Daniel Friedman is professor of Architecture and former dean of the College of Built Environments (formerly the College of Architecture and Urban Planning) at the University of Washington.

Professor Friedman will be a guest of the Institute April 2-3 to discuss his vision for architecture at Georgia Tech. A public presentation is planned for Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. in the School of Architecture auditorium. Attendees are invited to stay for an informal reception with the candidate in Room 217, Architecture East, following the presentation.

The third and final candidate will be announced in the coming days. More information on the candidates, archived video presentations, and feedback forms will be available as they are announced.
