GT has just received TWO Chinese Government Full Scholarships for the Academic Year of 2013-2014. This is the most prestigious scholarship awarded to American students by the Chinese government.

1. This full-ride scholarship supports students studying in a Chinese university for one year. It covers registration, tuition, accommodation on campus, fee for basic learning materials, monthly living allowance, one-off settlement subsidy after registration, medical insurance, and one-off inter-city travel subsidy.

2. Applicants can choose one academic program and three institutions as their preferences from the Chinese HEIs (Higher Education Institutes) designated by the MOE (note: those top schools including Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Renmin University are all on the list. 3. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

If you are interested, please complete the application form attached (Part One and Part Two) and submit it to Dr. Jin Liu ( no later than April 2, 2013. The selection of the candidates will be made by a committee of Modern Language faculty and the Office of International Education at Georgia Tech.
