GTISC Security Research Forum

Primary tabs

Cybersecurity is one of the key strategic research areas for the nation, and we all aspire to make Georgia Tech the go-to place. In order to learn about all the great security research at Georgia Tech, facilitate close collaboration among researchers across campus, and initiate a discussion of GT-wide security research strategies, the Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC) is pleased to host a Security Research Forum on April 18, 2013. The forum is open to public.

We invite security researchers to provide a briefing of their research activities, and participate in a brainstorming session to discuss collaboration opportunities (such as coordination on large-scale proposals) and share thoughts on strategies to make Georgia Tech the go-to place for cybersecurity research. We will also invite researchers and students to showcase their research in a demo session.

The Forum schedule is as follows:

9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Opening Remarks

10 a.m. - Noon: Short Talks of Security Research (15 minutes each)

Noon - 1:30 p.m.: Brainstorming Lunch

1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Security Research Demos
