Second Sciences Dean Finalist Named; Visit Planned Feb. 28-March 1

The search committee has identified three candidates as finalists for dean of the College of Sciences. The first is Dr. Wolfgang Bauer, distinguished professor and chair of Michigan State University's Department of Physics and Astronomy. 

Dr. Bauer will be a guest of the Institute on February 28-March 1 to discuss his vision for sciences at Georgia Tech.  A public presentation is planned for Thursday, February 28, at 11 a.m. in room 236 of the Global Learning Center. Participants are invited to stay for an informal reception with the candidate following the presentation in Conference Room B of the Georgia Tech Hotel.

The final candidate will be announced in the coming days. More information on the candidates, archived video presentations, and feedback forms will be available as they are announced.
