A book by Marilyn Brown, professor in the School of Public Policy, has been named a 2012 Outstanding Academic Title in the category of Science and Technology by Choice Magazine.

Brown's book, "Climate Change and Global Energy Security" (MIT Press, 2011,) was co-authored by Benjamin Sovacool. It details assessments of the most advanced commercially available technologies for strengthening global energy security, mitigating the effects of climate change, and enhancing resilience through adaptation and geo-engineering.
