The fall semester is off to a wonderful start, and we have welcomed another extraordinary freshman class to Georgia Tech. As freshmen and returning students settle into their campus home, you can’t help but feel the excitement around Tech.

While students adjust to their new courses and schedules, they also are navigating all of the different extracurricular experiences, student organizations, and programs offered at Georgia Tech. These opportunities enhance your student’s experience at Tech, building upon what they learn in the classroom and providing them with the opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills and give back to their community—as well as to have fun and forge lifelong friendships!

The Parents Fund for Student Life & Leadership provides critical resources for the campus life activities that are available to Georgia Tech students. The Parents Advisory Board and Parents Program recently announced the Parents Fund goal for the 2012-13 academic year—$300,000! If you haven’t done so already, please consider supporting the Parents Fund and help us reach our goal. With your help, we can set a new record of parent giving at Georgia Tech. Parents who make a gift of $1,000 or more are recognized at the Leadership Giving level and are invited to attend special events throughout the year.
