CACP Public Policy Luncheon Series

The Center for Advanced Communications Policy (CACP), Georgia Tech and the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) of Atlanta will present a luncheon panel on the  "Twenty-First Century Communications Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA): Compliance and Opportunities for the Telecom Industry, Manufacturers and Individuals with Disabilities."

Join us for a discussion by key policymakers of the FCC’s implementation of the CVAA.

Panelists include:

  • Karen Peltz Strauss, deputy chief, Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, FCC
  • Matt Gerst, counsel, external and state affairs, CTIA—The Wireless Association
  • Julie Kearney, vice president, regulatory affairs, Consumer Electronics Association

Moderated by Ronnie London, Davis, Wright, Tremaine, Washington, D.C.

The doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and box lunches will be available at that time for a $10 fee. The beverages are complimentary. If you desire lunch, please make your sandwich selection when submitting your RSVP. The choices are ham and Swiss, turkey and Swiss, tuna salad, chicken salad or vegetarian. The panel discussion will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m.
