Call for Petit Institute Interdisciplinary Research Seed Grant Proposals

Primary tabs

The Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering & Bioscience is currently accepting proposals  for its Interdisciplinary Research Seed Grant Program.

The goal of the program is to stimulate new research collaborations between IBB investigators.  Two co-principal investigators from different colleges are required and both must be primary IBB faculty members.

The committee will select three awards for fiscal year 2013 at $50,000 per year for two years, however, year two funding will be contingent upon submission of a collaborative grant proposal by July 5, 2013.

Built on the foundation of collaboration, IBB's mission is to foster partnerships and community.  The Petit Institute Interdisciplinary seed grant program was launched in 2011 as a way to create unique partnerships between Georgia Tech's colleges.
