VWR Distinguished Seminar in Experimental Biology

The School of Biology is proud to announce the VWR Distinguished Seminar in Experimental Biology for the 2010-11 academic year. Dr. Bonnie Bassler is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the MacArthur Foundation "Genius Award". Prof. Bassler's talk will take place on March 31, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building, rooms 1116-18. The talk is entitled "Manipulating Quorum Sensing to Control Bacterial Pathogenicity". A lunch reception in the Marcus Building atrium, sponsored by VWR International, the School of Biology, and the Center for the Study of Systems Biology follows the talk. The School of Biology is grateful to VWR International for their continued support of the seminar series.
