The School of Biology is proud to announce the VWR Distinguished Seminar in Experimental Biology for the 2010-11 academic year. Dr. Bonnie Bassler is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the MacArthur Foundation "Genius Award". Prof. Bassler's talk will take place on March 31, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building, rooms 1116-18. The talk is entitled "Manipulating Quorum Sensing to Control Bacterial Pathogenicity". A lunch reception in the Marcus Building atrium, sponsored by VWR International, the School of Biology, and the Center for the Study of Systems Biology follows the talk.
