Mark Hay wins Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award

Congratulations to Mark Hay (Professor and Teasley Chair in Environmental Biology), recipient of the Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award. This is the highest honor given to a Georgia Tech professor and is richly deserved by Dr. Hay. The Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award recognizes sustained outstanding achievement in teaching, research and service.

This award is presented to a professor who has made significant, long-term contributions in teaching, research, and public service. Dr. Hay's contributions have brought wide-spread recognition to both the School of Biology and the Institute. The Distinguished Professor Award was instituted in 1984 by the Class of 1934 in observance of its 50th Anniversary.
