{"90151":{"#nid":"90151","#data":{"type":"event","title":"(11-0502) AACP Seminar Series-Prof. John Yates, University of Virginia","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EProf. John Yates, University of Virginia\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E Photochemical Behavior of TiO2- Following Electron and Hole Behavior\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAACP Seminar Series\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe behavior of photogenerated charge carriers in TiO\u003Csub\u003E2\u003C\/sub\u003E is a key issue in the optimization of efficiency of both photovoltaic devices and of redox processes which occur on the TiO\u003Csub\u003E2\u003C\/sub\u003E surface. Using a variety of physical methods we have been able to monitor processes such as charge transfer across the surface and electron-hole recombination within the TiO\u003Csub\u003E2\u003C\/sub\u003E bulk.
