The area of interest for Prof. Weck\u0027s program is \u0022Densely multifunctional copolymers: Nature-inspired use of multi-recognition site self-assembly onto polymer backbones for materials applications.\u0022 \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Foundation seeks Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholars who demonstrate leadership in research and education. Nominations must provide compelling evidence of the advance of important knowledge in the chemical sciences by the nominee. Further, the nominee will be assessed with respect to dedication, contributions, and innovations in education in the chemical sciences.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ERecommendations for awards are based primarily on the nominee\u0027s achievements as an independent faculty member as assessed by the Foundation\u0027s reviewers and the judgment of the nominee\u0027s peers exemplified by letters of recommendation. Other considered factors are: awards and honors, publication of research achievements in leading journals; and success in attracting funding of research. Consideration is also be given to evidence of dedication to educational activities (classroom and research) involving undergraduates.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Board of Directors of the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation is enthusiastic about providing support for faculty at the earlier stages of their academic career.
