Brown on Renewable Energy Standards

Twenty-nine states have renewable energy standards, according to Georgia Tech energy policy professor Marilyn Brown. But Georgia is not one of those states. Brown says these states require proportionate increases in renewable electricity such as "biopower, wind, solar, landfill gas and other cleaner options over time, incrementally increasing the amount of renewables over time, which then means building more renewables and less fossil in the future." Source: WABE (Atlanta) - January 19, 2012
