{"73594":{"#nid":"73594","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Collaborative Symposium on Growth \u0026 Design","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development is co-sponsoring a Collaborative Symposium on Growth \u0026amp; Design with the Georgia Planning Association, the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Atlanta Chapter of American Institute of Architects, the Congress for the New Urbanism - Atlanta, and the Livable Communities Coalition on Thursday, March 8.  \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe symposium will include expert panels, a keynote lunch, an interactive discussion and charrette, and a reception.  One panel will feature a retrospective from current and former Atlanta planning commissioners. The second panel will look forward with Kevin Cantley, president of Cooper Carry, a multi-disciplinary design firm; Pam Sessions, president of Hedgewood Properties, a homebuilder and community developer; Jack Crowley, former Dean of UGA School of Environmental Design and also a former planning director and DOT Commissioner; and Jim Durrett, executive director of the Livable Communities Coalition.
