Dr. Catherine Ross speaks about the valuable experiences that Kent State allowed her. Coming from a family where neither parent had a college education, Ross was able to attend Kent State due to a partial scholarship from the school and the school's commitment to an affordable education. From there, she went on to do her doctoral studies at Cornell and post-doc studies at University of California-Berkeley. Ross continues to give back to her alma matter through the Centennial Campaign gift of scholarship funding for minority students. ]]>
