  <title><![CDATA[Tech Forms Employee Resource Group for Veterans of Afghanistan, Iraq]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Georgia Tech would like to announce the Afghanistan&nbsp;and Iraq Monthly Breakfast for veterans, which is meant to provide fellowship and support to those who have participated in the wars in both countries.&nbsp;</p><p>"This group is one of the inaugural employee resource groups forming under the human resources diversity council," said Pearl Alexander. "This council will advise the Office of Human Resources on the development and execution of its strategic diversity plan."</p><p>The group will be spearheaded by Andy Altizer, who is an Afghanistan veteran, and&nbsp;William Smith, who is an Iraq veteran. The first breakfast meeting will be held on&nbsp;Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 a.m. in the North Avenue Apartments Dining Hall. The cost to attend the is $7.21.</p>]]></body>
