<p>In this talk, we introduce a bit-interleaved binary space-time code (B-STC) with iterative decoding for a coded 2x2 MIMO system that achieves a multiplexing gain and power gain while maintaining the diversity gain. To verify the performance of the proposed B-STC, we derive the theoretical  average bit error probability at the i-th iteration and compare it with computer simulation.  Although the iterative decoder in the B-STC structure increases the computational complexity, the number of iterations is not large. The proposed scheme can be extended to arbitrary number of transmit and receive antennas.</p>]]></body>
