Go Smell the Flowers is an interactive sculptural installation illustrating the rich floral biodiversity at Tech, consisting of 100\u2013500 handmade flowers made from tissue paper, acrylic paints and markers, floral wiring, netting, and beading. Charles has been hosting pop-up workshops throughout the semester for students to contribute to the mural, which will hang in \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/library.gatech.edu\/\u0022 rel=\u0022noreferrer noopener\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EGT\u2019s Library\u003C\/a\u003E in March. By synthesizing visual art with real-time textural auditory feedback, the project allows people to \u0022feel\u0022 digital textures simply by looking at them. Ichihashi is collaborating with Supratim Pait, who is a Microgrant alum and also a PhD candidate in Digital Media.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EDebbie Jung\u003C\/strong\u003E, a graduate student in \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/planning.gatech.edu\/\u0022 rel=\u0022noreferrer noopener\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ECity and Regional Planning (College of Design),\u003C\/a\u003E will produce \u003Cstrong\u003ETech Play Commons\u003C\/strong\u003E, a vibrant, interactive installation using imagery, keepsakes, and toys representative of youth, encouraging a realignment with one\u0027s childlike imagination.
