Abstract: This talk explores how AI agents can support information retrieval by identifying the files, tables, and other data needed to answer scientific questions within large, multimodal repositories. It also connects retrieval to downstream applications such as data science workflows, biomarker discovery, disease prediction, and clinical trial patient matching.​
