The annual U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings are based on assessments from academic leaders at peer institutions nationwide.  

The recognition comes at a time of significant momentum for ISyE. This fall, the school moved into George Tower in Tech Square, a new home designed to support learning, collaboration, and innovation while creating new opportunities for engagement with students, alumni, industry partners, and the broader Georgia Tech community.  

Demand for ISyE's undergraduate program continues to grow, with a record 1,536 students enrolled for the fall 2026 semester, a 10% increase from the previous year. ISyE graduates continue to find success after graduation, with a median starting salary of $90,000 for 2025-26 bachelor's degree recipients and 84% of job-seeking graduates receiving at least one job offer before graduation. Alumni pursue careers across consulting, logistics, finance, technology, manufacturing, and startups, with top employers including The Home Depot, Delta Air Lines, McKinsey & Company, Capital One, and PwC.

The College of Engineering also achieved a historic milestone in the latest U.S. News rankings, rising to No. 2 nationally. All 10 undergraduate engineering programs were ranked among the nation's top five.
