Top-tier specialty rankings in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity continue to drive the program's standing, with AI retaining its No. 5 rank nationwide and Cybersecurity holding firm at No. 2.

The 2027 U.S. News Best Colleges rankings reflect performance across several specialized undergraduate tracks within the College:

• Cybersecurity: No. 2
• Software Engineering: No. 3
• Artificial Intelligence: No. 5
• Data Analytics: No. 5
• Computer Systems: No. 6 (up 1 spot)
• Theory: No. 10
• Programming Languages: No. 13 (down 3 spots)

Building on prior years' gains in national recognition, the latest results mark continued consistency across both foundational theory and specialized subfields.

Earlier this year, U.S. News and World Report ranked Georgia Tech No. 7 overall among the best graduate CS programs.
