The event brings together the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering and the Scheller College of Business in a shared environment designed to encourage collaboration among students, faculty, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe building reflects Georgia Tech\u2019s belief that many of the challenges facing Georgia and the nation require expertise from multiple fields. From advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence to healthcare, supply chains, and entrepreneurship, the next generation of leaders must understand both technology and business \u2014 and know how to work across disciplines.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe project was made possible through support from the state of Georgia and the extraordinary generosity of Georgia Tech alumni and their families: Bill and Penny George, Ernest \u201cErnie\u201d Scheller, and H. Milton \u201cMilt\u201d Stewart and Carolyn Stewart. Designed for the next 50 years, George Tower | Scheller Tower incorporates advanced systems and sustainable design strategies that significantly reduce energy and water use, lower environmental impact, and create efficient, flexible spaces for learning and collaboration. The project recently earned LEED Platinum certification, the highest level awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council, and a 4 Peach rating, the highest rating through the Georgia Peach Green Building Rating System administered by the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission. The Georgia Peach Program recognizes state-owned and state-managed buildings that demonstrate excellence in energy efficiency, sustainable construction, environmental stewardship, and resource conservation.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGeorge Tower | Scheller Tower represents more than an investment in Georgia Tech.
