692662 event 1789672290 1789672388 <![CDATA[Make-A-Thon Fall 2026]]> The Make-A-Thon is a three-day weekend where student Makers are paired with a Need Knower,  someone who lives with a real daily challenge, to design and build a working solution, by the end of the weekend.

Here's how it works:

Meet your Need Knower. Teams receive a real problem statement from a member of our community facing a specific daily-living challenge that no off-the-shelf (accessible) product solves.

Design & build, together. Over three days, Maker teams brainstorm, prototype, and iterate with mentors and materials on hand to help turn ideas into something real.

Deliver something that matters. By the end of the weekend, each team hands their Need Knower a working prototype built specifically for them. A solution they can actually use.

No engineering background required just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to build something for someone who needs it!
