692636 event 1789653491 1789663090 <![CDATA[Artist Talk & Film Screening with Delphine Diallo]]> Join the Black Media Studies Program of the School of Literature, Media & Communication for an afternoon with Delphine Diaw Diallo, a Brooklyn-based French and Senegalese artist, photographer, and filmmaker. Diallo introduces the Oracle Codex, a decolonial and nonlinear creative framework born from more than two decades of artistic practice and expanded through the creation of her science-fiction universe, Motherverse. Moving from analog photography, self-portraiture, collage, and archival research into AI cinema, she explores how ancestral memory, embodied intuition, and the Black feminine gaze can reclaim authorship and imagine futures beyond inherited visual systems. 

The event will include an artist’s talk, a film screening, and audience Q&A. Open to the campus community and general public.
