Faculty and researchers will hear directly from industry leaders about the problems companies are trying to solve with AI and where new research and partnerships are needed. Students can gain a clearer understanding of how AI is changing the careers they are preparing for and connect with employers, founders, and technology leaders. And staff and professionals from across campus can explore how the technology is changing their own fields.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESessions will take the form of panel discussions, keynotes, and fireside chats. Attendees can experience emerging technologies firsthand with AI activations and simulations, watch entrepreneurs compete in a student founder pitch competition, and connect with leaders from across Atlanta\u2019s technology and innovation ecosystem.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cAvant South offers a chance to connect what happens in classrooms, research labs, and startups across campus with the communities and industries being transformed by AI,\u201d said \u00c1ngel\u0026nbsp;Cabrera, president of Georgia Tech. \u201cWhether AI becomes a transformative force for good or a threat depends on what we do to advance it and use it.
