The session will then explore practical applications including viral vector copy number, bacterial abundance, copy number variation, and gene expression. Whether you\u2019re new to dPCR or exploring its potential, this session will provide practical insights into how dPCR is advancing research, biotechnology, and healthcare.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EBIO\u003Cbr\u003EJonathan Weiss holds a Diploma in Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Cologne, where he worked on deciphering oncogenic dependencies in Non-Small Cell Lung (NSCL) tumors. He then held a postdoc position in Melbourne, Australia, where he started working with digital PCR. He returned to the University Hospital Cologne in 2015 as an independent translational research group leader, where he developed and established digital PCR assays to answer complex clinical questions.
