From Spec to Reality: Open Source AI Solutions for Software Development

Generative AI has made software development easier than ever. If you have ever shipped software built on prompts and then wondered how you would audit, debug, or prove that it does what it claims — this workshop is for you.

The Georgia Tech Open Source Program Office (OSPO@GT) and IBM are hosting a hands-on, in-person afternoon on agentic AI built entirely with open source tools. You will work directly with:
- Mellea — generative computing for predictable, auditable AI
- Granite — IBM's open model family
- Bob — IBM's agentic framework for spec-driven development

By the end of the afternoon, you will have built your own spec-driven application with Bob, and you will leave with open source tools that you can use to improve your software development workflow.

Attendance to this event is free and open to everyone in the Georgia Tech and wider community. However, we request that you register at https://luma.com/kbv2jzcu.

Lunch will be provided to registered attendees.
