We have used a bottom-up approach to build abstractable analog circuits, followed by a top-down approach to create a tool that structurally abstracts analog concepts, validated by multiple fabricated and measured analog circuits and chips. We answer the question of building analog circuits through a novel programmable analog standard cell library. The question of designing analog systems is answered through a structured framework of standardized algorithms, along with a toolset that supports it. These tools, and frame-work, are used to create multiple AVLSI systems.
